I was never really overweight and never really had a problem with a double chin. At least I never realized it. But then I saw myself in some pictures and was absolutely disgusted at how gigantic my chin looked!
But like I said, I have always been relatively slim, so I was really shocked that I had a double chin, and it kept showing up in picture after picture. I had to figure out how to get rid of double chin fast because I was starting to get self-conscious about it. I was always stretching my neck out like a rooster thinking it was hiding it.
After doing some research online, and trying multiple things, I came up with 2 secrets you must obey to get rid of your double chin fast – and I mean it can start to go away in as little as 2-3 days. Actually,there are 3 ways, but the 3rd is surgery, and I’m not willing to pay that much to go under the knife. Especially when that knife is so close to my neck!
So, here are the 2 secrets, each described below – 1) supercharge your metabolism and 2) quality of fuel.
My Super Secret Eating Plan
If you want to get rid of your double chin fast, you have to not only eat right, but you also have to supercharge your metabolism – even if you are slim already. Take it from me, I learned this the hard way.
So, how exactly do you do this?
To supercharge your metabolism, you want to actually increase the number of times you eat per day. Now, I’m not saying eat 5 Big Macs instead of 2! The goal is to eat 5-6 small, healthy meals, or snacks if you will, per day.
This does 2 things – it increases your metabolism and it keeps food in you constantly. Increasing your metabolism will help you get rid of your double chin fast because your body will burn more calories. Also, by keeping food in your belly, you won’t get “over-hungry” and stuff yourself in one sitting.
Quality of Fuel
How do you expect to get rid of your double chin fast if the fuel you put in your body is junk? Surprising as it may sound, eating fast food and candy bars will actually make your double chin worse! I know, it’s shocking!
But seriously, if you want to make that double chin disappear fast, you have to put the right fuel in your body. The primary culprits here are salt, sugar and fat. Salt makes you hold water, which makes you feel fat. Sugar (empty calories) will be stored as short-term fuel. And if not used, will turn to fat. And fat is fat – you don’t really need an explanation on fat.
In summary, what you want to do is eat 5-6 small meals per day consisting of fresh vegetables, lean meats (if not vegan), beans, nuts, and egg whites. Stay away from milk, sweets, chips, fruit (yes fruit – it has a lot of sugar), orange juice, processed meats (like hot dogs), etc.
In essence you are putting only natural, fresh foods in your system, and cleaning out all the junk.
Great, you are halfway there! To get rid of double chin fast and supercharge your results, you have to know the correct exercises for a double chin (notice I said “correct” exercises – be wary of all the so-called “advice” on line for double chin exercises).

You notice I say “correct” exercises, because there is a ton of junk out there that if done incorrectly can actually severely injure your neck.

1. The Baby Bird
I call this one the baby bird because you’ll look like a baby bird looking for food when you do this. Sit in a chair and tilt your head back as far as you can comfortably. Open and close your mouth and really feel your neck and chin muscles stretching and contracting. Do this exercise 3 times daily, 10-20 reps each time.
2. Chew the Cud
I call this chew the cud because you’ll look like a cow chewing cud (clever, huh!). You can do this standing or sitting. Stick your chin out in front of you as far as you can, while sticking your lower jaw out as far as you can. Chew like a cow would chew cud with your mouth open in very pronounced, circular motions. Do this exercise 3 times daily, 10-20 circular motions at a time.
3. The Scary Clown
I call this one the scary clown because it makes you look a little funny and a little scary at the same time! So, to get rid of your double chin fast, stand or sit in an upright position, open your mouth and stick your tongue out as far as you possibly can. You should feel your neck strain a bit as you try to stick your tounge out further. You will probably also have those lines sticking out of your neck, like the Incredible Hulk. When doing this exercise, hold it for 5 seconds, then release. Do this just like the others – 3 times daily, 10-20 reps each.
